Lava Brand Website Design Project

For the Lava Website Brand Design Project, I began by sketching and wireframing the entire website layout using Figma, carefully planning the structure, visual hierarchy, and user flow to align with the brand’s identity. This initial design phase allowed me to experiment with different color palettes, typography pairings, and layout options to ensure a visually cohesive and brand-consistent design.

Once the design was finalized, I transitioned into coding the website using HTML and CSS, translating my visual concepts into functional web elements. Throughout the process, I consulted with the teaching assistant to gather feedback and advice on both design choices and technical implementation, which helped me refine the layout, improve visual balance, and resolve early-stage responsiveness issues.

After applying these adjustments, I thoroughly tested the website’s responsiveness across screen sizes ranging from 312px to 1920px, addressing layout shifts and ensuring the design maintained its integrity and usability across devices. This end-to-end process significantly strengthened my skills in front-end development, UI/UX design, and adaptive web design, while also deepening my understanding of how collaborative feedback and iterative design contribute to creating user-friendly and visually polished websites.
